We manage our valuation projects through a state of the art, custom built
computer program, which was developed exclusively for Herriots and is now
patented and marketed to the rest of the property valuation industry. This
system is centrally networked from head office and enables senior
management to track the progress of every project in real time, from an
initial client phone call through to the delivery of the final valuation
report.
Human resources, training and development of our people is also centrally
managed from our head office. Herriots promotes staff from within the company
to ensure senior staff have thorough knowledge of the systems, procedures
and culture of the company. Many Herriots staff have been with the company
for more than a decade.
A dedicated research and analysis division collects and interprets data
released by the Department of Natural Resources on a quarterly basis for
the purpose of extrapolating trends and predicting future property activity
in each area where Herriots operates.
Herriots maintains a highly mobile workforce, available to travel to any
branch office at short notice to support local teams with very large
valuation projects.
